Steve has been in the property business since 1993, and is a founding member of Alliance Holdings, Atlas Holdings and Atlas Residential Management, where he is President and CEO. Steve has experience in all phases of property acquisition, development, financing and management, including asset identification and evaluation, market evaluation, marketing, contract negotiation and funds raising. He has been involved in over US$7 billion of property transactions to date, and has overseen annual construction and renovation budgets in the tens of millions dollars.
Prior to the formation of Alliance Holdings, Steve had acquired and completed several extensive redevelopments of apartment properties in Chicago as well as being a general partner in a large Texas apartment portfolio.
In addition, he spent several years working with a European firm evaluating the commercial viability and financing potential of various construction and heavy industrial projects throughout Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
As an honors graduate of the University of Chicago he also guest lectures there on the topics of residential property and property finance.
Leslie has over 30 years experience in commercial real estate transactions, construction lending, workouts, pension fund acquisitions, investment sales brokerage and over 15 years of investing in apartments nationally in the US. She has worked for many of the top firms in the apartment industry.
Most recently prior to Atlas she was a Senior Vice President with Bank of America, she is in charge of forming strategies for restructuring distressed loans. Prior to Bank of America Leslie ran a team of investment sales professionals for Cushman & Wakefield for apartment sales out of their Chicago office. Prior to C&W Leslie was a Director of Asset Management with Alliance Residential, Leslie was responsible for strategic acquisition, disposition and renovation/value add strategies for the 65,000 unit portfolio.
Before her appointment with Alliance, she was a partner with Moran & Company, as an investment sales broker, and prior to that with Equity Residential Properties, wherein she was a Vice President of Asset Management with a 70-property, 15,000 unit portfolio, and also as a Vice President of Acquisitions, wherein she acquired the $380 million, 26-property Executive Life portfolio in 1994, as well as worked on the teams that acquired the Wellsford REIT and the Evans Withycombe REIT. She has executed more than $5 billion in acquisition and financing over her career.
Leslie is on the Board of Directors of the NMHC. She holds an AB in History from Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio and an MBA with double majors in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She studied under James A. Graaskamp in the Real Estate Department of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Business, who was a pioneer in the development of Masters programs for commercial real estate.
Jonathon runs our London office and is responsible for capital raising, deal origination & execution in the UK.
Prior to joining Atlas Jonathon ran the London office of Carlton Group, a New York headquartered global boutique real estate investment bank specialising in corporate finance advisory, debt / equity placement and commercial loan sales. Jonathon’s transaction highlights included accessing a €10 billion European hedge fund for a $250 million first mortgage financing of a Manhattan apartment block redevelopment and raising a €200 million senior loan for the refinance of a 5-star hotel in Milan, Italy.
At The Raven Group, a specialist award winning global property developer, Jonathon worked as a development executive within the residential team. His responsibilities extended to land buying, planning, development, project management and sales & marketing across a variety of projects including listed building residential conversions, assisted / retirement housing and second home / hotel development. During his time at The Raven Group Jonathon operated throughout Europe and The Americas.
Jonathon received his training at Legal & General Investment Management where he initially spent four years working as an analyst in fund management, then as a new business consultant in investor relations were he built relationships with a network of institutional investors from across the UK pension fund spectrum.
Leonardo joined Mr. Ivankovich in 2007, co-founding Gruppo C’E, the production, marketing and branding company in charge of Alliance Holding and Atlas Holding special projects.
Currently Leonardo is Managing Director of the Atlas Monegasque office, managing local real estate acquisitions projects and portfolio while supervising DGB Monaco, a privately owned turn-key project company working in Monte Carlo and on the Côte d’Azur.
Prior to this Leonardo was directly involved in large scale projects, regarding the industrial conglomerates of Minsk and Mogilev and the problems surrounding the post-Chernobyl agro-industrial sector for East West Development Corporation and Inmet companies belonging to the Dutch Industrialist Frans Lurvink.
In 1992 he became shareholder and member of the Board of Director of Fluidware Ltd. a highly specialized software company producing metering system for television audience surveys for Taylor & Nelson and Sofres. In 1999, Leonardo created E-Com Investment Group Ltd, a small venture capital company aiming to invest into emerging e-commerce companies
Leonardo is a graduate from Pitzer College, one of the prestigious Claremont Colleges, with a double major in Economics and Political Sciences.
Chris joined Atlas in 2014 as Vice President of Business Services and Operations. Chris brings a variety of valuable experiences in the apartment industry and is one of the key team members that oversees day to day functions, seeks new revenue generating opportunities, and manages all of Atlas’ property construction management needs.
With more than twenty years of multifamily expertise, he offers a unique perspective from both his experience on the owner and manager side of the business as well as the supplier side. Chris has worked with Archstone, TransUnion, Alliance Holdings, Riverstone and NWP. Additionally, Chris worked as a key consultant with various firms to drive performance-focused initiatives to deliver continued increases in operational efficiencies. The value proposition that Chris continually brings to the table, is a vigilant focus on performance, identifying and leveraging opportunities, and developing and maintaining relationships at an executive level.
His expertise on both sides of the equation allow him to make amicable risk – reward decisions for all parties, and he continually delivers economic returns to the companies he works with.
Ravi is a critical part of Atlas’s acquisitions activities working on major portfolio purchases, as well as the formation of the company’s asset management platform.
In 2008 Ravi started SB Strategic Solutions, a consulting firm, where he advised a variety of top-tier property clients on re-positioning assets and debt. Prior to creating his own firm, Ravi invested ten years as a leveraged financial analyst in the property sector for Wall Street investment banks BancAmerica Securities, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Salomon Smith Barney in both leverage finance and M&A.
His institutional analytical experience dealing with complex property debt and equity structures, as well as detailed analytical skills are exceptional. His experience working with CMBS loan servicers and investors, as well as on the ground understanding of property is rare in the residential management industry.
Ravi is a graduate of the University of Chicago, and holds Series 7 and 63 securities certifications.
Brad joined Atlas in 2014 as Director of Marketing and Brand Management. With more than twenty years of advertising, marketing and brand building experience, Brad brings a wealth of knowledge from both the agency and client perspectives.
Most recently Brad managed a successful brand consulting business helping clients refine their marketing strategies and identify and capitalize on industry trends.
Prior to that Brad oversaw North American retail activation and promotion at Draft Worldwide/Marketing Drive on the Procter & Gamble account, where he managed five consumer product launches and two new product categories launches for Gillette.
Brad began his career producing radio and television commercials for clients like Marriott Hotels, JMB Realty, and Centel Cellular. From there he moved to account management at Hal Riney & Partners and then to Amrbosi & Associates where he oversaw the $16 million Customer Relationship Marketing Division for Sears, Roebuck & Co. He was subsequently hired as Account Director of the Teen & Young Adult Division for BountySCA Euro RSCG, the largest product sampling company in the world, where he developed programs that helped brands reach more than 200 million U.S. consumers annually.
A Chicago native, Brad earned his B.A in Marketing Communications from DePaul University.
Dominic joined Atlas in 2017 as Operations Director in the London office.
His previous role was Operations Director at Westrock/PLATFORM_ overseeing the operational delivery of its PRS business. The business currently has over 2,500 units either under construction, let or in the pipeline, providing specifically purpose ‘build for rent’ customer-focused stock.
He previously was a member of the Government’s PRS Taskforce, to help the industry kickstart a larger ‘institutional grade’ investment asset class. The role covered all aspects, from design through to management, working with investors and banks, land owners and Local Authorities.
He is a member of the RICS and has over 14 years’ experience, specialising in residential investment at CBRE. In particular he initially lead the inward investment into the UK of the Swedish residential investment company Akelius and worked closely with the Aviva Investors in 2010 sourcing multiple sites for development investment funding.
He is a member of the IPF Special Interest Group, the BPF Build to Rent sub-committee, Chair of the UKAA Policy Committee and a contributor to their ‘B2R’ best practice guide. He co-authored a research report into the viability of PRS across England and helped produce the ‘Residential Investment Reference Guide’.
